JQ Medal Results 2013/14
Veteran Craig Naidu has won the coveted John Quiney Medal for season 2013/14 by 3 votes from Swiv Heywood. Nudie made an emotional speech cuddling his 14 year old son Sam. He said how great it was to play in a Premiership team with his son. Nudie was a fitting winner. His leadership, encouragement and enthusiasm during the season and in the successful finals series for the 5ths was outstanding. He starred with the bat and also (wicket)Kept with distinction and fittingly it was his direct hit run-out which gave us victory in the grand final.
Top 11: Nudie 17; Swiv 14; Boomer Meaklim 13; Chris Gorrie and Mick Margetis 12; Jason Olsonand Stinga and Sudheesh 10; Greg Ritchie and Jiggy and Lemon on 9 votes.
